About Tim Geffe
Tim Geffe, Esq. is a lemon law attorney with over 25 years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry, having personally bought and sold more than 15,000 vehicles. This deep insider knowledge of car sales, dealership practices, and manufacturer tactics gives Tim a unique advantage when representing consumers in lemon law disputes. He knows how the auto business works—because he lived it.
Tim’s transition into consumer protection law was driven by a strong desire to stand up for individuals who are often outmatched by large corporations and automakers. His legal practice is focused on helping Californians who have been saddled with defective vehicles navigate the complexities of the state’s lemon law and secure the compensation and justice they deserve. Tim also gained valuable legal experience in estate planning and probate during his time volunteering at the probate court and serving clients in that field for approximately a year. This background sharpened his legal research and advocacy skills, while reinforcing his commitment to client service and ethical practice.
A graduate of Western Sierra Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctorate with honors, Tim is a member of the State Bar of California and remains active in continuing legal education to stay current with California’s evolving legal landscape. Outside the courtroom, Tim continues to follow developments in both automotive technology and consumer law. He is dedicated to using his unique blend of experience to level the playing field for everyday people and ensure their voices are heard.
